January has brought us into the new year and almost directly into a “Spring Market”!The beginning of January started out quickly and has continued on strong. The entry level condos on the market have been extremely busy with mortgage lending getting a step further conservative in the near future. The high end of the market has also been picking up as we move into February.The largest current issue with this early Spring Market is the lack of inventory & variety. This leads me to believe that prices will start to edge up before the summer inventory rush comes to market.As we move further into Spring / Summer we will see the catch 22 of more inventorycome to market with more buyers following. At the rate we are going, this could easily bring a “Sellers Market” busy enough to command multiple offers situations similar to years past.
